Personal Note: In complementary support of all the articles on decision-making posted in SL Library, this one is plainly described as Graphics, Pictures, and Concepts,” serving as a backdrop or visual approach to skill development. The concepts are more fully treated throughout the four sets of articles.

The decision-making process begins with definition, is aided by the example of others, has various boundaries, and must involve the right people.
